Sustainability has become a top concern for many companies, and Apple is no exception. As a global technology giant, Apple has taken significant steps to reduce its environmental impact and promote sustainability across its operations. The long awaited ad-supported tier of Netflix has finally come to the Apple TV. Netflix has updated its tvOS app to include its ad-supported subscription tier, which brings a lower-cost option to Netflix viewers. The service is officially named "Basic with Ads" and first arrived on other platforms starting in November 2022.

Apple Music Classical has arrived, less than two years after Apple acquired the classical music streaming service Primephonic. Fans of Primephonic have been waiting since Apple took the service offline as it worked to integrate its classical music services into Apple Music. Primephonic subscribers received six months free access to Apple Music. Now the all-new classical music experience comes free to existing Apple Music subscribers, and can be accessed using the Apple Music Classical app.

This year's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) has officially been scheduled for June 5 to 9, 2023. The annual Apple event will kick off with an all-day in-person gathering at Apple Park, with State of the Union and keynote presentation videos. The campus in Cupertino, California will also host the Apple Design Awards.

This week Apple released two iOS updates delivering new features, bug fixes, and security enhancements. While iOS 16.4 was widely anticipated, the company also rolled out iOS 15.7.4 to ensure iOS 15 users are protected from the most recently discovered security threats. iPhone owners are strongly encouraged to update to the latest versions of iOS as soon as possible.
