Apple finally announced its fourth-generation Apple TV during its iPhone 6s keynote on Wednesday. The new set top box is joining Apple's iOS devices in getting its own App Store, which means Apple TV owners will be able to download third-party apps such as " At Bat for Apple TV" and games. The new Apple TV remote will feature a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope plus trackpad for playing titles such as Manticore Rising, Rayman Adventures and more. Apple also previewed the Nimbus Steelseries Controller as an Apple TV accessory on its Apple TV product page.

Apple announces iPhone 6s with 3D Touch, major camera enhancements

As expected, Apple today revealed the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The next generation iPhones have been completely revamped. CEO Tim Cook described the iPhone 6s as the "most advanced smartphone in the world". First off, externally the iPhone 6s models feature a custom aerospace 7000 aluminum alloy developed by Apple. In addition to the existing colors, a rose gold model will join the lineups.

The three-year old Apple TV has finally been refreshed. Apple detailed the next generation Apple TV at its fall media event. Highlights include a brand new remote control, which adds touch controls and Siri integration to the experience. The top surface of the remote is designed with a glass surface for easy swiping and touch selection. Siri brings voice search to the device, spanning multiple content sources such as Netflix and Hulu and returning all relevant watching options in one place.

iPad Pro with 12.9-inch display and Smart Keyboard launches in November

The iPad Pro is a reality. With a 12.9-inch oxide TFT display and a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels, the iOS software keyboard will appear full sized. A 64-bit A9X processor promises faster-than-desktop class performance, a full 22 times faster than the original iPad.

Apple opens media event with new Apple Watch models

Apple kicked off its fall media event with an exploration of updates coming to Apple Watch. Version 2 of watchOS will include several enhancements, such as Time Travel. Turning the Digital Crown forward previews one's entire day. In addition to third party complications, which can display an array of data right on the watch face, Transit will be added to map functions. Overall, there are 10,000 watch applications currently available.
