How can I delete a single call on my iPhone recents list?
UPDATE: You can easily delete an individual call on your Recents list by swiping left on the call you want to remove. This will bring up a large red Delete button. Just tap the button and the call will be removed from the list.
Deleting the entire iPhone calling history is simple, just touch the Clear button in the upper right hand corner. Sometimes you'd rather delete just one phone number from the list.
There's no simple way to do this with the current iPhone firmware. Deleting a single call requires jailbreak apps such as MobileLog or CallD. Alternatively, some programs that run on your computer are capable of deleting single calls on the iPhone (one example is iBackupBot).

Actually, it is very easy to do without jailbreaking the phone. Simply swipe the number you want deleted from right to left and the "delete" button will appear, then simply delete. This also works with email messages as well.
Hope this helps.

When one presses home button twice, all current windows appear and also appears the call details. I do I clear call details from there?

NO, simple deletion is not far enough, it is still can recover by some iOS data recovery program. IF you want to permanently erase call history from your iPhone, this guide may help you:
