Warhammer 40,000: Storm of Vengeance Announced for 2014

Eutechnyx has teamed up with Games Workshop to release Warhammer 40,000: Storm of Vengeance in 2014. The strategy game will be released for both PC and mobile devices, including iOS. The new title will be set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe during the planetary conflict on Piscina IV, and feature the popular characters Grand Master Belial and Ork Warlord Ghazghkull Thraka.

"Storm of Vengeance sees Eutechnyx working with one of the most established brands in gaming" said Eutechnyx CEO, Darren Jobling. "I am very excited that our new partnership with Games Workshop will allow us to bring the world of Warhammer 40,000 to dedicated fans around the world via our new mobile division."

Eutechnyx describes Storm of Vengeance as "lane strategy game" that allows players the "chance to command the tenacious defense of the planet with only 100 Dark Angel Space Marines, or attempt it’s annihilation using the cunning of the Ork Waaagh! and their telly-porta technology."

Storm of Vengeance will join Hero Craft's Space Wolf as the second Warhammer 40,000 mobile game released in 2014. Space Wolf will be a free-to-play, turn-based collectible card game, and will also be available for iOS, Android and PC when it is released.
