Two of the most useful controls in iOS 7 can be combined into one place on jaibroken devices. The App Switcher makes it easy to run recently accessed apps, and this functionality can now be added directly to the Control Center with the tweak CSwitcher.
Once installed, CSwitcher replaces the bottom row of quick launch apps with a smaller version of the app switcher. A double press of the home button will reveal the Control Center instead of the App Switcher, and the recently accessed app icons are located at the bottom of the Control Center.
Options include a toggle to disable the tweak entirely, as well as two different display methods for the switcher. Either app icons or preview cards can be used in the Control Center app switcher. Users can select between four or five apps to be displayed, and use paging or a smooth scroll between apps. For those users with jailbroken devices who don't find the bottom row of quick launch apps very useful, consolidating the Control Center and app switcher might work.
CSwitcher is available from the BigBoss repository on Cydia for free. Jailbreak iOS 7.1.x with Pangu to start customizing iOS. Check here for instructions on how to jailbreak iOS 7.0.x with evasi0n 7. You can also find out how to purchase and install Cydia tweaks with this guide.
