The Pangu jailbreak team and Cydia creator Jay Freeman (saurik) have finally released a stable version of the Pangu iOS 8 jailbreak tool with a fully functioning Cydia app store. Freeman announced on Thursday that Cydia has officially started accepting payments for paid tweaks and apps, and Team Pangu released Pangu version 1.2.0 with major big fixes. As of right now the iOS 8 jailbreak is available for Windows only, but a English Mac version should be available any day now. This means we should see an increase in jailbreak tweaks that take advantage of the iOS 8 software. You can learn how to jailbreak your device running iOS 8 - iOS 8.1 here. On Friday, Blizzard announced its first Hearthstone expansion titled "Goblins vs Gnomes". The expansion will include 120 new cards that players can purchase with in-game gold or real world money. You can see a preview of some of the cards being released here and the trailer at the bottom of this post. Goblins vs Gnomes will be available this December.
Microsoft updated its Office apps for the iPad with iPhone and Dropbox support. You can download Word, Excel and PowerPoint to your iPhone now for free and access your free Microsoft account from any device.

Independent game studio Lima Sky has teamed up with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment to release Doodle Jump DC Super Heroes to the App Store. The first episode titled "Batman" takes place in Gotham City where the famous villains The Joker, Penguin, Mr. Freeze and more are up to no good. Help Doodle the Doodler pursue Batman's greatest archenemies with a batcopter, bat jetpack and more.

Adult Swim has a really, really great track record when it comes to mobile games, making any title they release worth a try. Day of the Viking is a side-scrolling tower defense title where you must defend your castle and princess (shhh don't tell Anita Sarkeesian) from a viking attack. The game features over 80 levels, unlockable/purchasable weapon upgrades and boosts, tons of enemies to slaughter and 40 Viking trophies to collect.
Mighty Smighties: Free for the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad (Requires iOS 6.0 or later) Rated 4+
It seems like everyone and their brother is scrambling to make a card game for the iPad these days, but Herotainment's Mighty Smighties supports both the iPhone and iPad. It also claims to be for "everyone," which I assume means children. The game features all the same card collecting, deck building and online battling as other popular collectible card titles.
