Can I use iOS 9 multitasking on the iPhone?

The short answer is no. Apple previewed several multitasking features at WWDC 2015, slated for newer iPads running iOS 9. Slide Over, Split View, and Picture in Picture make iOS more convenient and productive. The complete list of supported devices is below:

iPad Air
iPad Air 2
iPad mini 2
iPad mini 3

Note: Split View is only available on the iPad Air 2.

iPhone and iPod touch users cannot use the multitasking features of iOS 9.
