Apple typically doesn't announce the amount of RAM powering its iOS devices, but developer Steven Troughton-Smith claims to have discovered that the iPhone 8 will ship with 3GB.
If true, this means the iPhone 8 will include the same amount of RAM as the previously released iPhone 7 Plus.
Smith claims he found several specs for Apple's next-generation devices while digging around the iOS 11 beta code. The rumored iPhone 7s Plus will also also ship with 3GB, while the rumored iPhone 7s will only ship with 2GB.
Smith also noted that the iPhone 8 will be equipped with a 12MP camera with support for 4K video at 60fps and 1080p video at 240fps.
