Apple has been working on non-invasive technology to measure blood glucose levels. These sensors would use optical absorption spectroscopy to calculate blood sugar levels through the skin, making pin pricks for blood samples unnecessary. Rumors have pointed to a future Apple Watch with built-in glucose monitoring in development.
Apple Watch continues to add new ways to measure personal health metrics, thanks to specialized components inside the device. The Apple Watch Series 8 and later includes a variety of sensors to collect biometric data from the wearer. Information can then be viewed and tracked in both the Health app and the Fitness app.
Like any computer, the Apple Watch will occasionally require a power cycle to correct problems. Resetting the Apple Watch with a reboot can be accomplished using a simple process.

Right on schedule, Apple has revealed its annual product refresh with new colors for spring. The highlight of the lineup brings yellow back to the iPhone for the first time since 2019. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are available in yellow starting on March 14, with pre-orders opening on March 10, 2023. The last time iPhone came in bright yellow was with the iPhone 11.

Apple Watch offers a wide variety of functions to Apple users, way beyond a simple pedometer or fitness band. That being said, sometimes the most useful activity data is also the most basic. There are times when tracking the distance walked, flights of steps climbed, or total steps helps achieve goals. Most step trackers are pre-set to encourage 10,000 steps per day.
