Apple has announced a date for its highly anticipated October event, the second special Apple Event this fall. The fireworks begin on Tuesday, October 13 at 10 AM Pacific (1 PM Eastern) and is titled "Hi, Speed." With new iPads and the Apple Watch Series 6 already on the books, the event next week is expected to be all about the upcoming iPhone 12 models.

Apple has officially sent out invites to its highly-anticipated media event taking place at Apple Park. The event will stream online starting Tuesday September 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM Pacific time (1:00 Eastern). Several new product announcements are expected, however it's looking as if the iPhone 12 reveal may be postponed until a future date. One leading indication is the September event title, "Time Flies".
Apple recently informed consumers that the release of the iPhone 12 will be pushed back due to production slow downs resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.

Apple looks to have a busy fall release schedule if the latest reports from around the Asian supply chain are true. Leaks point to a delay in the normal September launch of next generation iPhones, with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro shipping in October instead. The global pandemic continues to affect supply chains and has postponed Apple's fall plans. However, the company is still expected to have its annual keynote event in early September to reveal new products.
A concept video of an "iPhone 12 Flip" appeared on Instagram in February 2020, garnering over 2.5 million views. However, there is no actual iPhone 12 flip phone or any known plans for Apple to produce one in the near future.
