See How iOS Apps Access Your Data With Clueful

Are you concerned that your iPhone or iPad apps are collecting personal data without your permission? Now thanks to a new app called Clueful you can safeguard your privacy and see exactly what your iOS apps are doing. Some apps track location, use your address book, send your credentials out unencrypted, and/or track usage.

Some functions in these apps can even keep your GPS or audio services running unnecessarily, which can drain your battery. Many apps ask for personal data they don't need, or in some cases link your behavior to a real identity such as a Facebook page.

SloPro App Records Slow Motion on iPhone 4S

Looking to record real slow motion video at 60 fps (frames per second)? Thanks to SloPro from Sand Mountain Studios, your iPhone 4S can now handle the job at 720p HD resolution. Unlike editing software that slows down standard 30 fps video after the fact, SloPro actually records high quality, smooth slow motion directly.

The higher frame rate can be toggled at any time by pressing the volume down button while recording video. Just like the camera roll, videos recorded with SloPro can be trimmed, and the slow motion can be changed after recording is complete.

Facebook Rolls Out Photo Redesign for iPhone and Android Devices

Facebook has rolled out an improved design for all iOS and Android devices. Photos are now 3x larger and posts in your News Feed will fill your mobile screen from edge to edge. This makes browsing Facebook on your iPhone much easier since you do not have to spend time waiting for individual photos to load.

The new Facebook design makes reading your News Feed easier, but they still left out the "share" button for iOS devices. It's also reminiscent of Instagram which Facebook acquired for $1 billion. The new larger photos ensure mobile Facebook users will browse their Facebook pages more rapidly instead of waiting for slow connection times.
