Now that the iPhone 4S has been jailbroken developers are scrambling to provide new tweaks and improvements to enhance iOS 5. The Siri personal assistant is exclusive to the iPhone 4S and is already getting some great enhancements to add functionality. One example of a feature left out by Apple is the ability to update Twitter with Siri.

Apple still considers Siri technology in a beta phase, which is probably one reason why sending tweets is not officially supported. Not only this, but iOS 5 is the first time Apple has integrated Twitter into the operating system. Now thanks to Sireet, jailbroken iPhone 4S users can natively send tweets using Siri.

Siri isn't known for having a winning personality, but a new jailbreak tool can help you give her some pizzazz. The Siri Background Cydia Tweak allows you to spice up Siri's old boring grey background with new wallpaper. Just use any picture from your Camera Roll to change the background, and it will seem like you have an all new personal voice assistant.

Whether your iPhone is jailbroken or not, a decent SSH client can be useful to access other machines on the go. Jailbreakers can use an SSH app to browse and manipulate files directly on their Phones from the iOS command prompt. A popular app, Mobile Terminal serves this purpose but can't be installed directly from Cydia in iOS 4 or 5.

There is a workaround to install Mobile Terminal which is great because it's free. If you're looking for an easier alternative, Prompt comes to us from the App Store and can be installed on jailbroken or non-jailbroken iPhones.

Chronic Dev Team released another update to the Absinthe jailbreak tool for Mac. The new application jailbreaks the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 untethered and addresses several bugs that users reported while using Absinthe. Planetbeing reports the team has attempted to fix the white icons some users were seeing on their home screens after jailbreaking.

Absinthe version 0.2 also attempts to fix another issue where the iOS device fails to reboot after turning on VPN and touching the Absinthe icon on the home screen. Hopefully the latest version, which was also released for Windows, will help minimize problems for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 owners looking to install Cydia.

Chronic Dev Team released a new version of Absinthe that not only corrects some early bugs in the process, but will bring the full iPhone 4S and iPad 2 jailbreak to Windows users. The solution comes from pod2g and a "dream team" of iOS hackers working around the clock.

Absinthe is fully untethered and can be installed on mobile devices running Apple's latest firmware (iOS 5.0.1). Development efforts continue despite the successful release of Absinthe, with the iPhone Dev-Team working on new tools including an updated redsn0w coming soon.
