Does the iPhone 6 have a laser / projected keyboard?
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus do not have a projected keyboard, all keyed input takes place on the capacitive touch display glass.
Rumors of Apple integrating a projected virtual keyboard into its iOS devices are not new. Similar laser keyboard products such as the Magic Cube have been on the market for some time. Virtual keys are projected on a flat desktop, making input possible by tapping directly on the surface.
Apple has patented advanced 3D imaging and user interfaces, prompting some to believe a future iPhone will come with a holographic keyboard of some kind. The technology may be in development, however Apple has not indicated that a virtual laser keyboard or holographic keyboard is on its way to the iPhone anytime soon.
