The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are the first Apple devices to be equipped with a 12-megapixel iSight camera with 1.22µ pixels. The front-facing camera is equipped with a ƒ/2.2 aperture, five-element lens, hybrid IR filter, backside illumination sensor and sapphire crystal lens cover. The 6s and 6s Plus also include Apple's new Live Photos feature, autofocus with Focus Pixels, burst mode, panorama, True Tone flash, timer mode, auto image stabilization, face detection and more.
The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are capable of shooting 4K video (3840 by 2160) at 30 fps, 1080p HD video at 30 fps or 60 fps and 720p HD video recording at 30 fps.
The front-facing FaceTime HD camera is capable of snapping 5-megapixel photos and recording 720p HD video.
