The iPhone 6s Plus has the same 12-megapixel iSight camera as its smaller counterpart the iPhone 6s. The only difference is the iPhone 6 Plus features optical image stabilization for video, and the iPhone 6s does not. The iPhone 6s Plus iSight camera is equipped with a five-element lens, hybrid IR filter, backside illumination sensor and sapphire crystal lens cover. It also ships with Apple's new Live Photos feature, autofocus with Focus Pixels, burst mode, panorama, True Tone flash, timer mode, auto image stabilization, face detection and more.
The front-facing FaceTime HD camera is 5-megapixels and includes face detection, burst mode and a ƒ/2.2 aperture.
The iSight camera is capable of shooting 4K video (3840 by 2160) at 30 fps, 1080p HD video at 30 fps or 60 fps and 720p HD video recording at 30 fps. Th FaceTime camera can record 720p HD video.
