Apple CEO Tim Cook made a rare television appearance last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In the nearly 10-minute long interview Cook demonstrated the new features on the unreleased iPhone 6s. Stephen Colbert showed off his slapstick comedy chops while using Live Photo before asking about Apple's rumored driverless car, but Cook did not disclose any details.
Cook expressed his displeasure with the plethora of Steve Jobs biopics being released, calling them "opportunistic."
"I haven’t seen them, but the Steve I knew was an amazing human being. He’s someone that you wanted to do your best work for. He invented things that I think other people could not,” Cook explained. "He was a joy to work with. And I love him dearly and miss him every day. I think a lot of people are trying to be opportunistic and I hate this. It’s not a great part of our world.”Cook also talked about coming out as gay, saying he decided to do it to help youth who are being bullied and discriminated against in the world.
