Physical media collectors can now order Steve Jobs, the official Sony biopic directed by Danny Boyle on DVD or Blu-ray. The movie has been available on streaming services, such as iTunes, Amazon Video and YouTube for about a week, but now you can add it to your movie collection on DVD, or on Blu-ray. Both the DVD and Blu-ray are now available on amazon.com.
The movie has earned a 7.4 rating on IMDB, an 85% critic approval on Rotten Tomatoes and an 82 on Metacritic. The film is based on the Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs biography and it stars Michael Fassbender as the late Apple CEO.
Steve Jobs follows Apple Inc. co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve "Woz" Wozniak as they prepare to unveil the first Macintosh in 1984. The film also covers Jobs' personal life as he deals with personal issues related to his young daughter Lisa, the launch of NeXT Inc in 1988 and Jobs return to Apple in 1997.
DVD and Blu-ray special features include Inside Jobs: The Making of Steve Jobs, feature commentary with Director Danny Boyle, feature commentary with writer Aaron Sorkin and editor Elliot Graham. You can watch the trailer below:
