Where is my friends list on Apple Watch?

WatchOS 3 removes the Friends list from Apple Watch. Instead, a long press and hold on the side button initiates an emergency call.

With WatchOS 2 installed, pressing the side button brought up a list of favorite contacts. The Friends wheel interface was accessed using the Digital Crown. This feature is no longer available.
