While you wait for iOS 10 and Apple's redesigned Music app, Google would like you to try its music streaming service this July 4th. The first 4 months of Google Play Music is now free with a new subscription. Google Play Music is a lot like other popular streaming services, such as Spotify. It offers on-demand and commercial free access to 35 million songs for $9.99 per month. Users can listen across all their devices, including their iPod touch, iPhone or iPad. Other features include offline listening, access to podcasts and the ability to upload up to 50,000 of your own tracks.
The free trial is only available in to US users who have never signed up for Google Music or YouTube Red in the past. You can download the Google Play Music app for free from the Apple App Store after you sign up for your new account. The app supports all devices running iOS 8.2 or later.
You can also cancel your subscription at any time if you decide not to continue with the service. To cancel you subscription on your iPhone or iPad just tap the menu icon 
within the Google Music app, then select Settings. From here you can tap Cancel subscription option so you won't be charged $9.99 when your free trial expires.
To cancel your subscription from your computer open Google Play Music Settings on your browser and select Cancel next to your billing date. From here you can follow the instructions to cancel your account.
Unlike Apple Music, Google Play Music does offer an ad-supported free tier with limited features. Free tier users can't take advantage of the on-demand option, or download songs for offline access, but they can utilize the free cloud storage and listen to songs and podcasts.
