The little clock icon that shows me my alarm is set is gone! Where'd it go?
Prior to the introduction of "the notch," which debuted in the iPhone X and is also found in later iPhone models like the X and XR, iPhone owners who had set an alarm on their phone would see a small clock icon in the upper right hand corner confirming that they had in fact properly set an alarm. Comforting them, if you like.
With the introduction of the notch, however, space in the upper reaches of the iPhone screen was reduced, forcing Apple to pick and choose which icons were most important. The alarm clock icon got the boot.
But, fear not. You can still see the alarm clock indicator to reassure you that you've set an alarm, you'll just need to take one extra step to make it happen.
To check for the alarm clock icon/indicator, swipe down from the top right of the screen to bring down your iPhone's control panel. If you have set an alarm, you'll see the clock icon just to the left of the battery indicator.Note: You can also see your battery power percentage—another item that was removed from the top of the iPhone screen due to space constraints—this way.
