While Apple's official plans for 2021 are unknown at this time, recent rumors and leaks have suggested that a third-generation iPhone SE, dubbed the "iPhone SE Plus" by the press, is in the works for an April release. According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new SE will be equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the power button located the side of the device.
A new flagship device is also expected to be released in the second half of the year. The rumored iPhone 13 could ship with both Face ID and an under-display fingerprint scanner for extra security.
The iPhone SE Plus will most likely be powered by an A14 processor and be equipped with a 6.1-inch IPS display and 12MP camera.
