Periscope has offered live 360-degree broadcasting capabilities for some time. Now the streaming video company is rolling out panoramic video broadcasting support to iOS users. This means anyone with an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch can create videos with a "LIVE 360" label, using a panoramic camera such as the Insta360 Nano.

The original creators of Vine have released a new live streaming app one week after Twitter announced it would be shutting down its video sharing app. It is widely believed that the popularity of broadcasting services, such as Periscope and Facebook Live, is the reason Vine failed to survive. The demand for live streaming video has grown rapidly, but is there room for another live streaming app on the already crowded App Store?
You can watch Periscope live streams without the app if someone provides you with a direct link to a broadcast, but you won't be able to comment or give the user hearts. Periscope links are normally shared on Twitter or other social media by Periscope users trying to promote their streams.
