Apple's highly anticipated "Let Loose" event introduced an impressive lineup of new iPads and accessories, highlighting the company’s latest advancements in tablet technology. Over the course of 38 minutes, Apple unveiled the next-generation iPad Pro, iPad Air 6, and several innovative accessories and software upgrades.

The new M4 iPad Pro, available now and shipping on May 15, features Apple’s most advanced chip yet, the M4. This powerful processor provides a significant performance boost, positioning the iPad lineup at the forefront of Apple’s silicon technology.

Hot on the heels of the recent iPad Pro refresh, the upcoming iPhone 12 Pro looks to have similar advanced imaging equipment on board. The picture above shows an iPhone 12 Pro support manual diagram (left) alongside the imaging cluster on the newest iPad Pro. Leaks have all but confirmed that the iPhone 12 Pro features a three-camera optical imaging system (7), with a fourth sensor devoted to LiDAR (8). Light Detection and Ranging has already come to the 2020 iPad Pro, promising to improve augmented reality (AR) and beyond.

Apple quietly announced several new products, including the most advanced iPad Pro available. The latest iPad Pro brings trackpad support to iPad, as well as a brand new Magic Keyboard with floating design and angle adjustment. In other words, when connected to Magic Keyboard the iPad Pro floats above the keys and can quickly be adjusted for the best viewing angle.

At a special event held today at the Howard Gilman Opera House in New York City, Apple announced new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models with edge-to-edge "Liquid Retina displays," a boosted Mac mini, a new MacBook Air, an updated Apple Pencil with wireless charging, but no AirPower charging mat. Apple fans have been waiting for the AirPower to be released since Apple previewed the device more than a year ago.
