Apple has begun an iPhone 11 repair program to address touch screen problems in a limited number of units manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020. If your touch screen has been unresponsive you may be eligible for a free replacement display module. Only the iPhone 11 is affected, not the iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Capturing burst photos on the iPhone camera means holding down the shutter release button in the iOS camera. All this changed with the launch of the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Apple changed the press and hold gesture to create QuickTake videos instead. But fear not, burst mode is still accessible on the iPhone 11 and later.

The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max introduced Apple's U1 chip with Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology. This feature allows the iPhone to understand its location in relation to other UWB devices, providing what Apple calls "GPS at the scale of your living room". For example, AirDrop knows when you're pointing your iPhone at another iPhone to share content between devices.

As expected, Apple has launched the official Smart Battery Case for its 2019 iPhone lineup. The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max each have their own Smart Battery Case models in various colors. This year the case features a dedicated camera button, which launches the Camera app and captures still images or video right away. The camera button works whether the iPhone is locked or unlocked, further increasing the iPhone 11 lineup's focus on photography.
