Apple offering holiday deals on movie collections

Apple Movie Bundles

The Movies section of iTunes now includes a variety of holiday deals starting at $10 for select double features and discounts on preselected bundles and franchise collections. You can now nab all 4 Hunger Games for only $20 or the entire Harry Potter franchise for $50. Other deals include "Under $20 genre bundles" including Christmas Classics (It's a Wonder Life, White Christmas, Scrooge), Naughty Holidays (Bad Santa 1&2), Action movies, horror and more.

With a 43% rating (46% audience rating) on Rotten Tomatoes, a 43 overall critic's rating on Metacritic and a 6.3 rating on IMDB.com, The Angry Birds Movie is certified trash. But a number 1 opening weekend in the US and an overall box office of $352 million has doomed the world to a second film.

How to transform Siri into the Lego Batman computer

Apple has added a new Siri Easter egg to promote the Lego Batman movie now in theaters. iOS users can transform their Siri-enabled devices into Batman's computer by saying "Hey Computer" or "Hey 'Puter." Siri will then respond with one of several new Batman-themed phrases, such as “How can I help you, Lego Batman," or "Hello, sir I've heated up your lobster thermidor in the microwave." Siri will also throw shade at Alfred and make other references to the new film.

Steve Jobs now available on DVD and Blu-ray

Steve Jobs Biopic

Physical media collectors can now order Steve Jobs, the official Sony biopic directed by Danny Boyle on DVD or Blu-ray. The movie has been available on streaming services, such as iTunes, Amazon Video and YouTube for about a week, but now you can add it to your movie collection on DVD, or on Blu-ray. Both the DVD and Blu-ray are now available on amazon.com.

The movie has earned a 7.4 rating on IMDB, an 85% critic approval on Rotten Tomatoes and an 82 on Metacritic. The film is based on the Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs biography and it stars Michael Fassbender as the late Apple CEO.

Robot Warlords now available on UK App Store

Robot Warlords

The endless runner Robot Warlords is now available on the UK App Store. The game is based on Jon Wright’s sci-fi film Robot Overlords. In Robot Warlords, players must escape robot invaders by running through city zones while dodging obstacles and enemy attacks. Players can also collect power ups to hack their enemies, blow them up and shut them down. Here's the trailer for the game:
