Security researchers have found what they claim to be the "perfect" iOS 11.2 jailbreak, which also works on iOS 11.2.1. The team of 10 experts at Alibaba's Secure Pandora Labs is headed by Song Yang, whose group successfully demonstrated a jailbreak of iOS 11.1 in November. So when can iPhone X owners expect new jailbreak tools to be released to the public?
All 64-bit devices except for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus can be jailbroken by Yalu. This includes the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 / 6 Plus, iPhone 6s / 6s Plus and the iPhone SE.
But for those running the newest iPhone firmware, that's where the story ends. The latest version of iOS that can be jailbroken with Yalu102 jailbreak beta 7 is iOS 10.2.

For many weeks, the Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10.2 has been available in beta. This might be good news for the jailbreak community, however as of this writing the iPhone 7 is not included on the list of supported devices. Furthermore, with iOS 10.2.1 already installed on many devices and the upcoming release of iOS 10.3, Yalu's capabilities may be further limited. As is the case with any beta software, those looking to take advantage of the Yalu jailbreak should be aware of some caveats before taking the plunge.

Anyone looking to update their iOS device to iOS 9.3.3 and jailbreak had better get moving. The window to update will close as soon as Apple stops signing the iOS 9.3.3 firmware. According to IPSW Downloads, Apple is still signing this IPSW file on 64-bit devices. This means the Pangu jailbreak can still be installed.

Sad news today for owners of older iOS devices, including the iPhone 5 and fourth-generation iPad. The iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak released by Team Pangu will be limited to 64-bit devices. This means that anyone looking to jailbreak 32-bit iOS devices is out of luck. Pangu made the news official on Reddit, explaining that there is no future plan for 32-bit support.
