How can I run Absinthe 2.0 on Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8)?
Mac users running the latest beta of OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) may have run into a problem when trying to jailbreak their iPhone with Absinthe 2.0. With Mountain Lion still in beta, the Absinthe software does not appear to run when the application is double-clicked. Luckily there's a simple workaround.
If you've already downloaded the Absinthe 2.0 software to your Mac, follow these steps:
1. You must right click on the Absinthe icon and choose Show Package Contents.
2. Navigate to the Contents/MacOS folder, right click Absinthe 10.6 and choose Open With -> Terminal.
3. Absinthe 2.0 will now run, and you can continue with full jailbreak instructions.
