Apple opened registration for WWDC 2015 on Tuesday. The event is being held June 8 through June 12 at San Francisco’s Moscone West, with plans to live stream more sessions than ever before. The event will include over "100 technical sessions, over 1,000 Apple engineers, hands-on labs to help developers integrate new technologies and fine tune their apps, as well as the Apple Design Awards which showcase the best new apps in the last year." Hearthstone fans can now play the collectible card game on their iPod touch and iPhone. Blizzard updated the existing iPad app with iPhone support on Wednesday. The free iOS app now supports the fifth-generation iPod touch, iPhone 4s or newer, iPad 2 or newer and all three iPad mini models. Blizzard also released the third wing of the of Blackrock Mountain adventure, titled Blackrock Spire, on Thursday.
A lot of Apple Watch apps and games were announced this week. Eyes Wide Games unveiled its plans to develop a suite of one-touch sports related games for the Watch. The first title Watch This Homerun will launch later this April. Twitterrific, Glide and Do Note and Do Camera by IFTTT also gained Apple Watch support this week.

WWE 2K is a scaled-down version of the console version, but it still features the ability to create your own wrestler and work your way through the ranks of the WWE in Career mode. Players can also compete in real-time multiplayer matches and unlock tons of items to help your wrestler earn his/her place on the WWE Hall of Fame.

Microsoft has brought both Halo: Spartan Assault and Spartan Strike to iOS devices. Early reviews say the games are not bogged down with too many micro-transactions like the Windows versions, and that the top-down third-person shooters translate well to iOS. The games are available separately for $5.99 or as a $9.99 bundle.
