Shockingly, even with its hundreds of product tie-ins Disney did not release an official Force Awakens app, but they did release the entire soundtrack to iTunes. Star Wars fans can listen to all 23 songs from the new movie while they are driving to the theater to watch Luke, Leia and Han reunite for maybe the very last time. Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is available on iTunes for $11.99.
Disney did release an official Star Wars app that covers the entire movie universe. It includes breaking news, trailers, Star Wars-themed weather forecasts, Emojis, animated GIFs and lots more. The app is free to download on the App Store. It supports all devices running iOS 8.0 or later.
Diehard collectors can download The official novelization of Star Wars: The Force Awakens from iBooks for $13.99, and the six previous films from iTunes for $89.99.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens officially lands in theaters today. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams, and it stars Daisy Ridley and John Boyega as a group of rag-tag heroes who must stand up to The First Order who are trying to take over the galaxy.
