A lot of apps were submitted to the App Store before the winter holiday shutdown on December 22 to December 29, but before we get to all the new releases here are a few quick news items.
The Apple Music on Sonos beta is now available. Apple Music subscribers can now access all their favorite features of Apple's music streaming service on their Sonos wireless speakers. Click the link above to learn how to install the beta on your Sonos devices.
Google this week added offline navigation, business hours and real-time gas prices to its Google Maps app for iOS. Google Maps version 4.13.0 is available for free on the Apple App Store.
Five Nights At Freddy's developer Scott Cawthon announced the title and release date of his new book. Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes will launch as an Amazon Kindle book on December 22 and hardcover in 2016. The novel will "expand the mythos" of the Five Nights franchise, according to Cawthon.

Time Unit is the second title from the Apple Watch gaming studio Everywhere Games. The game follows an elite group of heroes called the Time Unit who must stop an invasion of monstrous abominations before they destroy the world. Everywhere Games' titles are known for their quick burst controls that our tailor made for the Apple Watch.
BADLAND 2: $4.99 for the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad (Requires iOS 7.0 or later) Rated 9+
The long awaited sequel to 2013 Apple iPad Game of the Year is now available for all iOS devices.

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories: $6.99 for the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad (Requires iOS 8.0 or later) Rated 17+
The 2005 Grand Theft Auto PSP title, Liberty City Stories, is now available for iOS devices. The story takes place in the same fictional New York City universe as GTA III, but it features "shorter, streamlined missions" designed for mobile devices. The game has also been remastered for iOS and includes new touch-based controls.
