After launching on Google Play, Niantic's augmented reality game Pokémon GO has been slowly rolling out around the world for iOS starting with New Zealand and Australia. IOS games "soft launching" in New Zealand is nothing new. Developers tend to release their games to the New Zealand App Store as a test before launching worldwide.
Pokémon GO is a real world title where players can capture wild Pokémon around their neighborhood. The game combines mobile location technology and augmented reality to create an interactive game that encourages players to get their shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. Pokémon GO was released in the US as a closed beta in May, and it is supposed to land on the US App Store starting today. You can follow us on Twitter for Pokémon GO updates.
The game is played by physically going outside and waiting for your iPhone to alert you when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Players can then attempt to catch the discovered Pokémon by taking aim and throwing a Poké Ball. Certain Pokémon can only be discovered in their preferred environments, such as lakes and oceans. Players can also visit PokéStops to purchase helpful items and join others in battle to capture gyms.
You can check out the game's full description and official screenshots on the Australian or New Zealand App Stores and download the game if you have the appropriate type of account.

It's really frustrating that PokemonGo is not yet released for many countries and i live among one of those countries.
