5 ways Kongregate can improve Animation Throwdown on iOS

Animation Throwdown

Kongregate's Animation Throwdown sounds great on paper. Who doesn't want to play a collectible card game featuring all the main and side characters from Fox's most popular animated series? The game includes characters and locations from King of the Hill, Family Guy, Futurerama, Bob's Burgers and American Dad, but unfortunately Animation Throwdown falls flat in all the key areas.

Instead of highlighting a new app for our App of the Week, we are going to look at 5 ways Kongregate can save Animation Throwdown before mobile gamers lose interest and move onto a new CCG.

iOS App of the Week: More iMessage stickers

Monsterfy it!

Before we look at this week's newest stickers, here's a quick note on why you may not be seeing the stickers you have downloaded in your App Drawer. If you're trying to install stickers to your App Drawer in the Messages app but they do not appear, it is because you have the Automatically Add Apps slider disabled. If you have this disabled you need to either enable it in the App Store settings, or manually add individual sticker packs to your App Drawer. You can click here to learn how.

The nice people of Emoji-Factory have sent us a few monster related stickers. The first sticker pack, Monsterfy It, is a set of monster facial features that you can add to any picture to create a goofy Snapchat inspired image. The $0.99 sticker pack includes a variety of monster eyes and mouths you can add to any image in your camera roll.

iOS Stickers of the Week: Best free sticker packs

TowerDash iOS Sticker Pack

There's a new obsession in the App Store called Stickers. These are animations or images you can attach to text bubbles in the Messages app thanks to iOS 10. Stickers are like any other app, meaning you must download packs of them from the App Store. You can learn how to access the App Store to download and use sticker packs here. Here are a few of our favorite sticker packs currently available in the App Store. You can also purchase sticker packs, but today we are only looking at free packs.

iOS App of the Week: He-Man Tappers of Grayskull

He Man Tappers of Grayskull

Tappers is a weird genre. A genre that can arguably be used to discredit mobile games, but they can also be very addictive for obsessive gamers who are looking for something simple to play on their iPhone and iPad. He-Man Tappers of Grayskull turns it up a notch by offering a trip down memory lane. The game features plenty of characters from the He-Man universe, including Prince Adam's twin sister, She-Ra. The game also includes villains from both Eternia and Etheria, including favorites such as Skeletor and Trap Jaw.

App(s) of the Week: Warhammer 40k

Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon - Da Orks

It may be time to reevaluate the Warhammer 40k universe on mobile devices. The quality of Warhammer games being released to the Apple App Store has increased ever since Games Workshop started licensing its IP to other developers. For example, Slitherine's Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon was well received by hardcore strategy fans, and it even spawned a sequel. Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon - Da Orks was released to the App Store last week. It hasn't received many customer reviews since it is a pricey premium title at $14.99, but if you've enjoyed Panzer General, then you might want to check out Da Orks since it runs on the same engine.
