The online Apple Watch Guide features instructions on how to set up your Apple Watch and pair it with your iPhone, plus other helpful tips like how to use the stock apps and how to customize your Watch face. The guide also includes important safety and handling information for Watch owners.

More Apple Watch games have been announced and updated with Watch support before the official release on Friday. Modern Combat 5: Blackout has been updated with new Apple Watch features, including the ability to change your class selection, weapon and mask, receive important notifications, and sign up for events. The changelog for Asphalt 8: Airborne version 1.8.6 includes a mention that the racing game has been updated with Apple Watch Support, but it does not give any details about what that means.

Some Apple customers are reporting that they have received a delivery notification stating that their Apple Watch has shipped and it should arrive on Friday, April 24th. Other Apple Watch buyers have received early UPS tracking numbers also confirming some orders will make it to customers' doors by Friday.

Video games were obviously not a top priority when Apple was designing its new Watch, but quite a few developers have still been able to come up with some interesting titles for the wearable device. Tiny Tower creator NimbleBit has released an Apple Watch word game, Letterpad, and Everywhere Games plans to release an Apple Watch RPG, titled Runeblade, later this month. Even EA has figured out a way to add Apple Watch support to its FIFA simulation app.

Widget Weather has been updated with Apple Watch support. The third-party weather service, which allows users to check forecasts from the Today panel of their iPhone, now features normal and Glance view options for Apple's wearable device. Apple Watch users with the widget installed on their iPhone can get 3-hour weather updates from the normal view, or see the current weather and 6-day forecast by glancing at their wrist.
The Widget Weather iPhone app only provides settings for the actual widget. From the app users can choose different fonts, weather icons and languages, and customize their weather forecast using simple on/off switches. The widget uses GPS and data from openweathermap.org and met.no to deliver accurate weather information based on your location.
