Apple opens pre-orders for the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus on Friday September 15, 2017 at midnight (12:01 AM) Pacific time.
Delivery is scheduled for one week later on Friday, September 22.
Both devices come with iOS 11 installed. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus can be purchased in full or added to a carrier monthly installment plan.
Apple typically doesn't announce the amount of RAM powering its iOS devices, but developer Steven Troughton-Smith claims to have discovered that the iPhone 8 will ship with 3GB.
If true, this means the iPhone 8 will include the same amount of RAM as the previously released iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple is set to announce several new products tomorrow at its brand new Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. Besides showing off the company's new digs, Apple is expected to take the wraps off of a special-edition 10th anniversary iPhone. While there have been several beta versions of iOS 11 released to the public, a wave of information was revealed last week by a leaked copy of the golden master.
The iPhone 8 is equipped with front-facing built-in stereo speakers and built-in microphone like its predecessors the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
The iPhone 8 is equipped with a rear-facing 12MP camera with a ƒ/1.8 aperture and 5x digital zoom. The front-facing FaceTime HD camera is 7MP with a ƒ/2.2 aperture.
The main camera includes optical image stabilization, six‑element lens, Quad-LED True Tone flash with Slow Sync, panorama (up to 63MP) and more. Video capabilities include 4K video recording at 24 fps, 30 fps, or 60 fps, 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps or 60 fps and 720p HD video recording at 30 fps.
