When it comes to the latest App Store statistics, a whopping four-fifths of active iOS devices are now running iOS 10. As of February 20, Apple reports 79% of active iPhones, iPads and iPod touch units compatible with the newest firmware have already installed it. This leaves 16% with iOS 9 and just 5% running earlier versions of iOS.

The latest report from Flurry Analytics shows Apple leading the pack when it comes to device activations this holiday season. In fact, between December 19th and 25th Apple activations more than doubled the number from rival Samsung. Apple took the crown this year with 44 percent of holiday activations overall.

For weeks, Apple has offered 2-3 week shipping times on the iPhone SE. The situation continues, with the company trying to meet "very strong" demand according to yesterday's fiscal Q2 earnings call. Although Apple hasn't released sales figures, demand for the updated 4-inch iPhone is higher than anticipated. Apple is working to reduce iPhone SE shipping times, which are currently overnight for the iPhone 6s.
