Getting everyone on the same page in a group message thread can be difficult. There are times when sending a quick poll to everyone right on your iPhone can help. Thanks to built-in apps in Messages, iOS device owners can easily create and distribute polls. Recipients send their vote directly via iMessage, without ever leaving the message thread.

Apple has released the latest iOS security and bug fixes with iOS 15.2.1. For those who recently updated to iOS 15.2, it's time to open Settings and start the process again. While it may not seem important to take advantage of these minor updates, this one plugs a dangerous vulnerability in HomeKit.
Those experiencing bugs in various apps should also update right away. Apple has listed two bug fixes included in iOS 15.2.1:

For your convenience, iOS delivers content that's shared in Messages threads directly to apps on your iPhone. For example, photos sent using iMessage appear automatically under the For You tab in the Photos app. The Shared with You section shows all of the pictures sent with Messages, who they are from, and whether or not they've been saved to an album in the Photos app. Other types of content are automatically delivered to other apps, such as links in Safari.

When it comes to iOS security updates, the answer is always to install the latest software as soon as possible. iOS 14.8 is no different, however the launch of iOS 15 is only days away. After lagging behind for years, Messages for macOS Big Sur has finally been fully updated and now has all of the capabilities that its iOS counterpart enjoys. In addition to bringing Memoji and Screen Effects up to speed, you can now pin conversations and, respond to specific messages within a thread, and "mention" other members of the conversation, which are all new features included in the recent iOS 14 update.
