Apple delivered iOS 16.1.2 to iPhone owners on Wednesday, just a week after the iOS 16.1.1 update rolled out. With iOS 16.1 only three weeks old, Apple continues to push improvements and bug fixes to all compatible devices. Anyone with the iPhone 8 or later should install iOS 16.1.2 right away for the best security and stability.

It has long been rumored that Apple is actively producing a VR headset, developing its own car, and now... buying a world-renowned soccer team? First reported in the UK Daily Star, it's not clear what sources provided information about a potential deal. Should Apple proceed with a takeover of the so-called Red Devils, the team could have access to more funds than rival clubs Newcastle and Manchester City.

The Spotify Apple Watch app has a new look. Spotify has delivered with an improved library view, larger controls, and swipe gestures for the Apple Watch. Owners of more recent Apple Watch models will enjoy larger artwork, bigger buttons, and new animations. The changes come as Spotify continues to offer its subscription pricing at $9.99 per month with no ads.

Apple has begun warning subscribers that access to its services will soon increase in cost. Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple One subscribers are receiving emails a month in advance of price increases, giving them time to continue or cancel their automatically renewed subscriptions. Price increases range from $1 per month to $3 per month for some family plans.
The silver lining is that Apple TV+ now offers more original content than ever, and higher licensing costs for Apple Music means artists should receive a larger slice of the profits.
