Research Kit

Research Kit is an open source software framework designed for medical research. Gathering data from large groups of people has long been an obstacle in medical research, but that shouldn't be the case any longer. With Research Kit, researchers are able to design apps that will collect data pertaining to their area of interest, and iPhone users can choose what data they wish to share. Tapping the large pool of iPhone users should yield much larger test groups than researchers have previously been accustomed to.
