Does Siri work in other countries?

Siri can be enabled in other countries, however, she only understands English (United States, United Kingdom, Australia), French (France) and German (Germany). Apple plans to add Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Spanish in 2012.

Maps and location based services are currently only available in the U.S..
