How can I see the time stamp of a text message on my iPhone?
One of the better features of iOS 7 is the ability to check what time a text message was sent to you. This feature adds a time stamp to every text message you receive or send on your iPhone.
Here's how to find a time stamp for any individual text message you receive.
Open the text message thread you want to check on your Messages app and swipe left on your screen. This will display all the time stamps for any messages in the text conversation panel.

Just FYI, this swiping trick still only shows what time the message arrived on your phone, not when the person sent it to you. Not necessarily the same thing. My kingdom for something that shows time sent/stored along with time received (like my old dumb phone did)...
