Live Photos capture 1.5 seconds of video before and after your shot, giving your photos an extra dimension of life as compared to a still. While you can trim and edit Live Photos and add effects like Loop, Bounce and Long Exposure and even convert them GIFs (with third-party apps), there hasn't been a way to convert them to regular videos, until now.

Tapping on the Share icon gives you a menu of options that vary depending on what app you are in. For example, if you are in Safari you will have options to bookmark a webpage, add it to your reading list, send it to a friend and more, while pulling up the share sheet in Photos will give you some different options like create a watch face or add to a slide show. iOS 13 has overhauled the Share menu (or Action menu), adding a list of options beneath the two familiar horizontal rows.

With macOS Catalina, iTunes file sharing no longer exists, in fact iTunes is gone altogether. Instead, you can share and synch files with your iOS devices directly through Finder. Of course you can still use iCloud Drive and AirDrop for file sharing, and those options are probably what you will use most of the time since they are quicker and easier, but this option exists nonetheless.
