Jumping on the iOS 7 bandwagon, Amazon had redesigned its iOS app to streamline looks and functionality ahead of the holiday shopping season. Millions of products are at your fingertips with version 3.1.2 of the Amazon app, which is available from iTunes for free. The redesign takes cues from iOS 7 as well as implementing bug fixes.

Browse and search functions can be used to find product details, read user reviews, and of course buy items using Amazon's secure servers. The Amazon mobile app provides one-stop shopping from Amazon.com and third party merchants, including used and refurbished items in some cases.

Apple has released the first iOS 7.1 beta to developers one week after the company rolled out iOS 7.0.4 to fix a FaceTime bug. The update can now be downloaded from Apple's developer center. You can read the complete release notes below.

Last week iOS 7.0.4 was deemed jailbreak safe by the jailbreaking community. However, evad3rs team member MuscleNerd advised users with jailbroken devices to avoid it because there is no going back once you upgrade. The iOS 7.0.4 update brought a few bug fixes and minor improvements.

Apple released iOS 7.0.4 to fix a FaceTime bug that caused "calls to fail for some users." Soon after the release, @iH8sn0w tweeted that the update “has no security changes.” iH8sn0w later added that the last few iOS updates "have not been directed as patching anything jb-related," and that Apple is probably waiting for the iOS 7 jailbreak to be released before they patch any exploits.

Soon after iH8sn0w's tweet, @MuscleNerd also confirmed that iOS 7.0.4 is jailbreak safe, but advised users to “avoid it" if they plan to jailbreak in the future. Apple's previous OS update, 7.0.3, was also found to be safe for jailbreakers by the evad3rs, who are the team of hackers working on the iOS 7 jailbreak.

Update: Version 1.3.0 of the Pebble Smartwatch app is now available.

Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky announced today that the company's smartwatch is getting an iOS 7-compatible app and a new developer kit. Migicovsky also told Engadget that "it's working with partners like Foursquare, Yelp and GoPro to produce new apps for each."

The new Pebble iOS 7 app will allow users to enable their smartwatch to receive alerts from any apps with access to their Notification Center. This will allow anyone with a Pebble smartwatch to receive notifications from Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and so on. Previously users could only receive calls, texts or emails as notifications through their watch.
