A Cricket representative told CNET that the phone is available at their retail stores and select dealers. The rep also claimed that they are experiencing "brisk" customer activity.

Cricket covers around 60 million Americans compared to AT&T' and Verizon's 300 million.

iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 Not Getting Turn by Turn Navigation or 3D Maps

Apple promised a lot of new features for all iOS devices thanks to iOS 6, however, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 owners are being left out in the cold when it comes to the new Apple-developed Maps software. Pocket-Lint noticed some fine print foolery at the bottom of Apple's Maps page. It reads: “Flyover and turn-by-turn navigation will be available only on the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 or later.”

There is more bad news for iPhone 3GS owners. The device will not be receiving VIP List, Flagged Smart mailboxes, FaceTime and Offline reading. It's safe to assume that the iPhone 3GS will be discontinued in the fall when Apple is expected to announce their next-generation smartphone. However, iPhone 4 owners may be feeling a little burned by iOS 6 after its release.

Apple Responds to Siri Class Action Lawsuits

Two different iPhone 4S owners sued Apple for "false and misleading" advertising in March, which helped kick off a few different class action lawsuits. David Jones filed a complaint with a U.S. District Court alleging "Apple disseminates false and deceptive representations regarding the functionality of the Siri feature." Other complaints ranged from not being able to recreate Apple's the ‘Rock God’ Siri commercial in real life, and Siri not giving proper directions.

Apple has responded with a motion to dismiss the class-action lawsuits:

"They offer only general descriptions of Apple’s advertisements, incomplete summaries of Apple’s website materials, and vague descriptions of their alleged—and highly individualized—disappointment with Siri. Tellingly, although Plaintiffs claim they became dissatisfied with Siri’s performance “soon after” purchasing their iPhones, they made no attempt to avail themselves of Apple’s 30-day return policy or one-year warranty—which remains in effect. Instead, they seek to take an alleged personal grievance about the purported performance of a popular product and turn it into a nationwide class action under California’s consumer protection statutes. The Complaint does not come close to meeting the heavy burden necessary to sustain such claims."

New A5 Jailbreak Works With iOS 5.1.1

Pod2g has confirmed that his newest jailbreak works with iOS 5.1.1. As you can see from the video posted below, pod2g has jailbroken an iPad 3 running iOS 5.1. On Friday, he tweeted that the same untethered jailbreak works with Apple's iOS 5.1.1. This means new iPad or iPhone owners with 5.1.1 pre-installed (or those who accidently updated) will be able to jailbreak their devices once it's released.

iPhone Jailbreaks

The latest untethered jailbreak should work on all iOS devices, including the new iPad and iPhone 4S. Pod2g has not given an ETA on a public release, but with all the progress the jailbreaking community has made recently it should be soon.
