It can be a real drag when you want to organize some photos on your iPhone or iPad and you realize this has to be done on your computer. After making the new photo albums and organizing the photos then you have to sync to your iOS device. Once on your iPhone the photos in albums can't be moved or edited at all.

Luckily Apple got wind of the situation and plans to add this functionality to the next version of its mobile operating system firmware, iOS 5. This doesn't come out until the fall, but for those with jailbroken iPhones the feature can be installed right away. The tweak is called PhotoAlbum+ and it's available on Cydia for $4.99.

Call Delete not only makes it possible to delete individual recent calls, but the tweak adds a variety of features and functionality to the iPhone recent call list. iOS 5 will implement individual call deleting when it's released this fall, but iPhone owners with jailbroken devices can install this functionality now thanks to Cydia and developer IArrays.

To find Call Delete, open Cydia and navigate to Sections -> Tweaks -> Call Delete or find the software using the Search function. Tap the Install button and Confirm to download the package. Before you can use Call Delete, you must pay IArrays $1.29 for a license via debit or credit card on PayPal. Open the Phone app and select Recents. When the Call Delete dialog box appears tap Buy Now.

Push notifications are great, except when they constantly interrupt what you're doing on the iPhone. Luckily for iPhone owners with iOS 4.0 or later developer Peter Hajas has released a tweak that greatly improves iPhone notifications. In fact, Apple has even hired Peter to implement his MobileNotifier software in iOS 5.

If your iPhone is jailbroken you can install this tweak and start enjoying the benefits of MobileNotifier immediately. To get started, open Cydia and follow these instructions to add a repository.

The iPhone has already surpassed other cameras on photo-sharing sites like Flickr, and iOS 5 and the next generation Apple iPhone are sure to accelerate this trend in the fall. Many improvements are in the works for iPhone photography in the next generation firmware.
