Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed its doors more than 30 years ago but the story lives on thanks to Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction. The owners have filled Fazbear's Fright with authentic items from the original location, including one animatronic...

Five Nights at Freddy's 3

The insanely popular Five Night's at Freddy's is back with a third installment. The location of the game has been changed but the gameplay is basically the same. In Five Nights at Freddy's 3 players are once again a night security guard at the new Fazbear's Fright horror attraction. Instead of being able to control only the security doors and cameras, players can now play audio through speakers and control the ventilation systems. Of course in the spirit of Freddy Fazbear these systems are old and don't work well.

Batman: Arkham Underworld Announced for iOS Devices

Turbine, the developer behind popular MMO titles such as The Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online, has announced it is developing a new game called Batman: Arkham Underworld for iOS devices. The official website describes the game as a "build your own base" title, which means it could be another freemium Clash of Clans clone. In the game, players will be able to recruit and train an army of henchmen from the pages of DC Comics to eventually take down Batman.

Batman: Arkham Underworld

The game will be a sort of mobile tie-in to the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight title coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC in June. Besides being able to "command iconic super-villains from the Batman: Arkham universe," and defending your base from raids, little else is known about the game. No release date has been announced, but Batman: Arkham Knight officially launches on June 2, 2015. You can sign up for the game's beta on the official website.

For the Kingdom!

Kingdom Rush Origins: Hulking Rage

Kingdom Rush fans recently voted on what the new hero in the series would be. The four step process allowed players to decide on different aspects of the hero like race and sex. The final vote resulted in a Fallen Angel, who should be one of the two new heroes to appear in the next update. It is unknown if the fan voted hero will be the free or paid option.

UPDATE: The fan voted hero will not appear in the game until June.

Apple Featuring 'Games with No In-App Purchases" On App Store

Apple has dealt another blow to freemium games by adding a 'Pay Once & Play' section to the UK App Store. The new section highlights paid games that do not feature in-app purchases, such as Leo's Fortune.

While freemium games rake in a lot of money for both developers and Apple, a lot of hardcore and casual gamers despise so-called "free-to-play" games. Hardcore gamers claim that they rather pay a onetime download fee rather than suffering through timers and in-app purchases, and casual gamers are tired of being misled by the promise of a "free" game that actually cost money to play.
