Every time you share content on the iPhone, Siri likes to make suggestions. These suggestions are the best guess from iOS about which of your contacts you'd like to share with, as well as what apps you can use to share. While Siri's suggestions can be helpful, sometimes the suggested contacts are incorrect. The share sheet can also become cluttered, which is why contact suggestions can be disabled.

It's easy to forget that the iPhone actually makes phone calls. There are many ways to initiate a phone call, such as launching the Phone app or asking Siri to ring a contact. Now thanks to Shortcuts, iPhone users can even put a contact directly on the Home Screen. Once set up, a single tap on this icon starts a phone call. The shortcut can even be set up to initiate a FaceTime call.
Several frequently called contacts can be added to the Home Screen in this manner. Of course, if you no longer need a person's contact on the iPhone Home Screen, it can easily be removed.
iOS 14 adds more options to the photo section of the Contacts app. You can now use an emoji, photo, Memoji or plain text with a custom background color to distinguish between your listed contacts. Previously, iOS users could only add emojis to a contact's name. Here's how to use an emoji as a Contact photo:

Animoji debuted with iOS 11 as fun Messages feature involving animated characters that use your iPhone's front-facing camera to mimic your facial movements and expressions. iOS 12 introduced Memoji which are basically customizable human Animoji. iOS 13 now lets you use both Memoji and Animoji as your profile picture. Not only can you use them as your own avatar, but you can create Animoji and Memoji profile pics for your contacts as well.

Blocking a phone number on iPhone makes it easy to avoid unwanted calls. But how can one begin accepting calls from a number that has already been blocked? Maybe you've buried the hatchet with an old enemy, or accidentally blocked your mother-in-law's phone number. Unblocking a contact on iPhone will restore incoming calls from that number immediately.
