In a notable update for iPhone users, Apple has officially declared that the forthcoming iOS 18 upgrade, expected by the end of 2024, will introduce the Rich Communication Services (RCS) messaging standard. Automatically deleting verification code texts and emails on your iPhone is now possible with iOS 17 or later installed. When logging into apps and websites, one-time passwords (OTP) often arrive via text message or email. However, these codes become useless after their first use and end up cluttering your device. Apple now makes it possible to automatically remove these texts and emails once they have been auto-filled on the verification screen.

There are many ways to customize the Mail app on iPhone to suit your personal preferences and needs. Sometimes accessing specific folders requires digging down into mailboxes on your device. To reduce the amount of tapping for frequently accessed email folders, these locations can be added as a custom mailbox.
Once added, the custom mailbox appears in the main list of Mailboxes in the iOS Mail app. You can rearrange the list of mailboxes to make these custom folders even more accessible. When folders are added to the list of mailboxes they can be opened with a single tap.
