Good news for fans of Apple and gaming. The Apple TV, iPhone and iPad can be used directly with Xbox One or PlayStation Dualshock 4 controllers. Bluetooth support for both controllers is included with tvOS 13, iOS 13, and iPadOS. Once your device(s) are updated, pairing an existing controller to use for supported apps and games takes place under Settings.

The iPhone, iPad and iPod touch remember Bluetooth devices forever after the first pairing. For iOS users with a long list of Bluetooth devices, it might be time for some house cleaning. Removing old or unused Bluetooth devices from Settings can reduce confusion and simplify your life. Once paired, a Bluetooth device can easily be removed.

AirPods now have expanded control functions thanks to improvements in iOS. Apple has pushed several firmware updates behind the scenes, however the latest version of iOS brings more options directly to AirPods settings. AirPods are already known for high levels of customer satisfaction, and Apple continues to improve the product. So how can one take advantage of the added features in iOS 11 and later?

If you have updated your iPhone or iPad to iOS 11, you may have noticed that the new Control Center toggles for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi don't fully turn off either service. If you turn them off you will disconnect from any devices that your iPhone is connected to, like AirPods, heart rate monitors, wireless speakers, or other accessories, but both services will remain on. This wasn't the case with iOS 10, where both could be fully disabled from the Control Center.
