iOS 13 adds what is probably the most powerful Accessibility feature to date - Voice Control. Voice Control allows you to navigate around your iPhone or iPad and use apps without needing to physically tap or swipe at all. It gives you more control than Siri and, unlike the personal assistant, it can be used while offline. Here's how to set up and use Voice Control on iPhone:

iOS 13 finally adds support for zipping files and unzipping compressed files. You could do this before with third party apps but it's about time native support was added, especially since they introduced a file management system (Files) in iOS 11. iPhone's screenshot feature received an update with iOS 13 - the ability to capture an entire Safari webpage in one shot. A full page or "scrolling" screenshot is saved as a PDF though, so it isn't technically a new ability, as you could do this prior to iOS 13 with the "Save as PDF" Share menu option. This makes it more convenient though, and gives you instant access to the screenshot's markup tools so you can quickly highlight, circle or cross out text, add notes and more.

Most people are probably familiar with creating reminders with specific dates and times, like a reminder for a dentist appointment at 11:00 AM on Monday, or a reminder to go grocery shopping on Thursday. But there are a couple of other useful options aside from assigning a date/time to a reminder, including location-based reminders. These are especially useful for non-urgent situations like remembering to get something you left at a friend's house the last time you were there. Now you can set a reminder to notify you the next time you go to that friend's house.

iPhones and iPads these days have quite a bit of storage, so you may have plenty of room to save documents on your device rather than spending money to upgrade your iCloud storage to the next tier. To do this you will want to set your internet downloads to automatically save locally, which is easy to do with Safari's new download manager and you will want to make sure you save email attachments locally. Also, anything you have stored in iCloud you can always move to a local folder in the Files app.
