AT&T Will Unlock Your Off Contract iPhone Starting Sunday

Beginning Sunday, April 8, qualifying customers will be able to request a carrier unlock from AT&T. iPhone users who wish to unlock their iPhones must have their AT&T accounts in order, and not be associated with a current and active term commitment with the carrier.

Unlocked iPhones allow users to replace AT&T's micro-SIM with other compatible network cards. This is a great option for people who frequently travel, and would like to use international or other local carriers. An AT&T spokeswoman confirmed the news with Engadget. Rockstar Games Announces Max Payne Mobile for iOS and Android

Rockstar Games has announced that Max Payne Mobile will be available for iOS devices on Thursday, April 12th. The Android version will be available two weeks later on April 26th. Both the iOS and Android versions will feature HD graphics, high-resolution textures, Social Club connectivity and user-customizable controls. Pricing is unknown, but Rockstar's last iOS game Grand Theft Auto III retailed for $2.99.

Max Payne Mobile will be available for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 4, iPad, iPad 2 and the new iPad. A list of supported Android devices will be listed on their blog in the coming weeks.

iDownloadblog got an early look at a new and interesting app coming to Cyida. AppMosaic makes finding popular apps easier by displaying the top 400 applications and games in the Apple App Store.

The jailbreak tweak separates the apps into two columns: the top 200 paid apps on the left, and the top 200 free apps on the right. The app's name and developer info is displayed on a panel at the bottom of the screen when you tap any of the 400 listed icons. You can then load the app's official App Store page by tapping the displayed info.

Future iPhones Could Feature Radical New Battery

Apple Still Considering OLED Displays for iPhone?

Rumors of Apple considering OLED technology for the iPhone display have been floating around for years. Now a report from The Korea Times has rekindled the notion that Apple might switch over to the power-sipping display technology in a future iPhone.

An unnamed Samsung executive explained that Apple has questions over "an output commitment and product volume as Samsung’s OLED business isn’t on full track. But chances have risen to break the wall." Samsung Electronics launched an affiliate company, Samsung Display, which will focus solely on the LCD and OLED display business. The segment currently brings Samsung over $26 billion in annual revenues.
